SP Broadway is supporting Nicholas King Homes with community consultation and engagement for land North of Spring Hill.

Nicholas King Homes are currently undertaking a process of consultation and engagement with local stakeholders to ensure that all community views are considered in developing the proposals for Spring Hill, before a planning application is submitted to Vale of White Horse District Council.

To date the following meetings have taken place:

• Meeting with Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Parish Council – 20th December 2022
• Meeting with Cllr Eric Batts (the then Vale of White Horse ward member for Kingston Bagpuize) – 23 February 2023
• Meeting with Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Parish Council – 16 March 2023
• Meeting with Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Village Hall Trustees – 19 May 2023
• Meeting with Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Parish Council – 4 September 2023

The new Government elected in July 2024 has set out plans to substantially increase the number of new homes built across the country to 1.5 million new homes within the current Parliament; this has also meant the number of new homes required in the Vale of White Horse area will increase.

With this in mind, Nicholas King Homes have decided to submit an outline planning application to Vale of White Horse District Council. We would be grateful to hear your views on the plans outlined on this website. Please let us know your views during the consultation period from 17 September to 4 October 2024 via the online feedback form.

Nicholas King Homes will continue consultation with local residents, stakeholders and Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Parish Council; we will also continue to engage with Vale of White Horse District Council and Oxfordshire County Council.
